The Shrines of Italy National Dominican Pilgrimage to Rome, Assisi & Siena takes place 28th September - 5th October 2026.
This 7-night pilgrimage, led by Fr David McGovern OP, includes visits to the Sanctuary of St. Catherine of Siena and the tombs of St. Francis, St. Clare and St. Carlo Acutis.

Our Monthly Mass in honour of Saint Carlo Acutis takes place on Monday, 17th November 7:30pm at Holy Cross Church Tralee. This month’s celebrant is Fr John Walsh OP, Director of the St. Martin Apostolate. Mass shall be followed by individual blessings with the first-class relic of Saint Carlo.
The artwork is one of several beautiful paintings presented to Holy Cross by pupils of Mercy Secondary School Mounthawk, Tralee this time last year for the visit of Monsignor Anthony Figueiredo with the relics of now Saint Carlo Acutis.
The National Dominican Pilgrimage to Lourdes in May 2026, led by Prior Provincial Fr John Harris OP and Fr David McGovern OP, is over half booked.

Prior Fr David McGovern OP made a presentation to the Master of the Order to mark his recent visit to Holy Cross Tralee and his celebration of Mass at Poll an Aifrinn in commemoration of martyred Fr Thaddeus Moriarty OP.
We were honoured to have the Master of the Order Fr Gerard Timoner OP visit Holy Cross Tralee and to have him uniquely celebrate Mass at Killaclohane Wood in commemoration of the martyrdom of Fr Thaddeus Moriarty OP on October 15th 1653.
The sacredness and sereneness of last Sunday's celebration of Mass by the Master were joyfully complemented by our Holy Cross Choir, by the homily delivered by Prior Provincial Fr John Harris OP and by the attendance of a great number of priests, brothers and novices.
